Obituary of Darin Richmeier
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
DARIN LEE RICHMEIER
Darin Lee Richmeier, son of Orville and Nettie (Deibert) Richmeier, was born on February 15, 1967 in Hill City, Kansas, and peacefully passed away January 4, 2017, at the age of 49.
Darin attended High School in Hoxie, Kansas. After the passing of his mother, he moved to Norton, Kansas and was employed by Jamboree Foods.
Darin enjoyed watching his cousins play sports, talking to and being around his friends at the Norton Manor, and he took great pride in his work. His greatest love was his family. Darin's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His smile, joking around and singing brought so much joy to everyone around him. He gave us all such courage and hope, and reminded us of the preciousness of life.
Survivors include: his father, Orville Richmeier, Norton; one sister, Laura, and husband, Doug Frickey, Norton; two brothers, Brad, and wife, Sheila Richmeier, Kansas City, MO; Rod, and wife, Barb Richmeier, Overland Park, KS; grandmother, Peggy Neal, Hoxie, KS; several aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces; many other relatives and friends.
Darin was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Richmeier; grandfathers, George Richmeier, Bo Deibert and Everett Neal; grandmother, Josie Richmeier.
