Owners, Larry and Diana Enfield both grew up in Norton. They attended Kansas City, Kansas Community College, graduating in 1983. In 2008, they purchased the business from Larry Enfield, Sr. and they also own and operate Norton Monuments. Larry is a licensed funeral director /embalmer and Diana is a licensed funeral director. Larry was a member of the Kansas Funeral Director Association Board of Directors for 12 years, serving as the board President in 2007. Diana serves as the office manager . They have two sons, Jody and wife, Jessica, and their four sons, Trevan, Caden, Ethan, and Logan, and Andrew and wife, Charli, and their two daughters, Delaney and Kinlee. Andy is also a licensed Assistant Funeral Director since 2007. The Enfield’s are very active in the community and attend the First United Methodist Church.
Angela Cruz grew up in Colorado and graduated from Northglenn High School. She attended Pima Medical School in Colorado, where she graduated in 2007. Angela moved to Kansas in 2008 and joined the staff in April 2009. She received her Kansas Assistant Funeral Director’s license in 2012. Angie is involved in all aspects of the funeral arranging and conducting services. Angie has three children, Nathalia, and husband, Coy Leggett, Lilhiana Cruz, and Nathaniel Cruz. Nathalia and Coy live in Logan where she runs a home daycare. Lilhiana is currently attending Dodge City Community College and will be receiving her Associates Degree in May. She plans to move to Florida to further her education and obtain her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. Nathaniel is currently a sophomore at Logan High School.
Samantha Keenan grew up in Norton and graduated from Norton Community High School in 2012. She joined the staff in September 2014, and received her Kansas Assistant Funeral Director's license in 2016. Samantha is also involved in funeral arranging and conducting services. Samantha has one daughter, Dakotah who is three and loves playing, being a typical three year old, and cuddling with her dogs, Turbo and Thor.
In June 2016, Angela and Samantha along with other members of the community started The Compassionate Friends Chapter of Norton, Kansas. "The mission of The Compassionate Friends: When a child dies, at any age, the family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family." - The Compassionate Friends
Kathleen Schemper is a visitation attendant and also assists with funerals as needed.
Howard Schemper assists the funeral home with transportation when needed.
